Chairside Assisting I

Provides instruction on the principles of clinical chairside dental assisting, dental equipment used and maintenance, safety, instrument identification, tray set-ups by procedures, and patient data collection. An emphasis is placed on patient management during restorative procedures. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
