Prerequisite MDL 225. Focuses on maintenance and troubleshooting of automated equipment, on evaluation of quality control programs, on blood dyscrasias, utilizing special stains and bone marrow studies, and on specialized studies for evaluating problems of hemostasis. Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 6 hours. Total 7 hours per week.
