Presents an overview of statistics, including descriptive statistics, elementary probability, probability distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, and correlation and regression. Prerequisites: a placement recommendation for MTH 240 and successful completion of MTH 158, MTH 163, MTH 166, or equivalent. Lecture 3 hours per week.
