Provides an introduction to current and emergent issues that affect the health of the general population, measures taken to address the disease burden, and indicators and/or tools used to assess population health.Examines agencies and organizations involved in international health, the impact of the environment and politics on health, and the relationship between health and human rights. Lecture 3 hours per week.
