Closing and Delay Schedule - 2-Hour Delay 

Monday - Friday

8:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.                                               10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. 

9:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.                                             11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. 

11:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.                                           12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. 

12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.                                             1:35 p.m. - 2:35 p.m. 

2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.                                               2:40 p.m. - 3:40 p.m. 

3:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.                                               3:45 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. 

If your class does not have a start time listed, students will receive instruction from the course faculty member.

Students enrolled in clinical courses at an off-site location will receive instructions from their faculty member. 

Evening Classes (4:00 p.m. and later starting times) will run as normally scheduled unless canceled. 

Saturday Classes will begin at 10:00 a.m. when WCC is on a 2-hour delay schedule.

Decisions concerning the closing or late opening of Wytheville Community College due to inclement weather will be made by college officials early each day. WCC will be utilizing the following to communicate all closures or delays:

Due to the inability to customize messaging for TV and radio stations, and the complexities and potential confusion with using codes, the above will be the only methods used to announce closures or delays.  You can sign up for and manage your WCC Alert account at https://www.wcc.vccs.edu/alert.
