Laken Crockett is one of 80 area students who has excelled at the high school level while completing her associates from WCC.

Crockett is a member of the National Honor Society at Carroll County High School (CCHS) and has been actively participating in athletics while keeping an excellent grade point average. To receive her associate's degree while in high school, Crockett had to not only take dual enrollment classes at her school but also attend WCC classes outside of her regular high school schedule.

As an athlete, Crockett has participated in volleyball and softball at CCHS. She will take her love for softball as she transfers to  Emory and Henry College where she plans to receive her Bachelor of Exercise Science and then transition into the Doctor of Physical Therapy at Emory and Henry’s School of Health Sciences. Crockett was selected as part of the Emory and Henry’s DPT Early Assurance Program that guarantees her a spot in the program if she meets the guidelines as she completes her undergraduate degree.
