Wytheville Community College (WCC) will hold auditions for the spring play on January 28, 2025, and January 29, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., in Snyder Auditorium in Grayson Hall on WCC’s Wytheville campus. Auditions are open to WCC students, employees, and community members.
There will be parts for a minimum of 3 men and 3 women; all parts will be available for people ages 18 years and older. The play will be a comedy. No previous stage experience is required to audition. Actors may bring their own audition piece or read from a piece provided by the director. Rehearsals will be two-three evenings a week. Those dates will be announced. The performance dates are March 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2025. Anyone interested in acting, costumes, props, lighting, sound, and set construction is welcome to attend auditions. Robert “Joe” Burnett will direct the spring 2025 play.
Burnett encourages interested people to audition, and says, “If you have ever wanted to be on the stage under the bright lights, now is your chance to shine.”
