The curriculum for Medical Office Clerk is a one-year program of instruction in clerical activities related to the health field.
Position in health-related facilities; namely, hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, certain government agencies, and other health care institutions, such as:
- Admissions Clerk
- File Clerk
- Financial Clerk
- Insurance Clerk
- Medical Transcriptionist
- Receptionist
- Typist
In addition to the admission requirements established for the college, entry into the Medical Office Clerk program requires competency in English as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostic tests.
