The Developmental Disabilities Career Studies Certificate prepares students for jobs that serve and care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Students gain skills related to providing care and treatment options and understanding legal rights of clients while working in educational, social services, or healthcare positions
The completion of this certificate prepares students for entry-level work in group homes, foster care agencies, respite services, supported employment programs, adult day programs, vocational rehabilitation agencies.
Admission to the Career Studies Certificate program is based upon the general requirements for admission to the college.
