What is it?

  • Support: Offer personalized guidance to help students navigate challenges.

Contest Guidelines 

  • All submitted work must be original and not based on any pre-existing design.
  • Only digital submissions (PDF) will be accepted.
  • The deadline for logo design submissions is February 11, 2025. 
  • The QEP Marketing Committee will review all submissions and select the winner by February 18, 2025. 
  • The committee reserves the right not to select a winner if, in their sole discretion, no suitable entries are received.
  • The committee reserves the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any contestant or entry. The QEP Marketing Committee will not engage in any correspondence regarding disqualification.
  • The winner will be required to sign a contract assigning all ownership of the logo to WCC. Accepting the prize constitutes permission for WCC to make the winner’s name public and use the winner’s name for publicity purposes. Further personal data may be requested.
  • The winning artwork/submitted design may be used to create or influence the final design.
  • All entries will become the sole property of WCC and may be displayed publicly on WCC’s website and other media, etc. as WCC deems appropriate. Logo contest participants forfeit all rights to the logo design submissions and agree that WCC may alter the logo design to suit institutional needs.
  • The winner will receive a $200 gift card.

Submissions 

Submit your logo design by 5 p.m. on February 11, 2025. Submissions may be from students, staff, and ​​faculty. Judging will be performed by members of WCC's faculty, staff, and student population, as well as members of the outside community. The judging rubric will assign points based on Originality, Relevance to the QEP theme (WCC C.A.R.E.S.), Visual Appeal, Creativity, and Ease of Reproduction.
