Location: Snyder Auditorium, Wytheville Community College Tickets for "2 ACROSS” will be available at the box office in the Johnson Lobby (adjacent to the Snyder Auditorium), which opens thirty minutes before each performance. Tickets may be reserved by calling 276-223-4795, or by emailing wcctheatre@wcc.vccs.edu. Ticket prices are $8 for general admission, $7 for senior citizens and students (any age, any school), and free for WCC students with WCC student ID. Virginia Delegate Jed Arnold, R - 46th District (Grayson, Pulaski (part), Smyth, and Wythe Counties), recently presented Wytheville Community College (WCC) President Dr. Dean Sprinkle with the state flag of Virginia to be displayed at WCC’s newest workforce education and training center, WCC WEST (Workforce, Education, & Skills Training). “WCC extends a heartfelt thank you to Delegate Arnold for the generous gift of the state flag to commemorate the opening of WCC WEST. Your support plays a vital role in the success of these workforce development students,” said Dr. Sprinkle. “We will display the flag proudly inside the new facility.” WCC celebrated the opening of WCC WEST on October 3, 2024, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony co-hosted by the Smyth County Chamber of Commerce. The facility in Marion, VA, enhances WCC’s capacity to provide much-needed workforce training in high-demand skilled trades in Smyth County and the western portion of the college’s service area. WCC WEST currently offers an automotive training program and a welding program and plans to expand into additional skilled trades.
