Improved Web Portal Will Help VCCS Students Who Aim to Transfer to Four-Year Institutions

Wytheville Community College (WCC) recently awarded Mr. Joe McKnight with the 2022 Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year Award. McKnight has been an adjunct faculty member and laboratory assistant in the Machine Technology Program at WCC since 2009.

On Monday, August 8, 2022, hundreds of educators from Wythe County Public Schools (WCPS) attended the EduPrep conference held at Wytheville Community College (WCC).

     Wytheville Community College (WCC) recognized Heather Lowe with the 2022 WCC Improvement of Instruction Award. Lowe joined the WCC faculty in 2021 as Assistant Professor of Mathematics.

     Wytheville Community College is pleased to present an Honorary Associate's Degree in Humane Letters to Dr. Richard Copenhaver. This is an honor bestowed upon an individual who has contributed significantly to the progress and development of WCC. 

      Mrs. Betsy Gillman was recently selected as the Support Staff Emeritus of Wytheville Community College (WCC) for 2022.

Dr. Teresa Galyean was selected as the Professor Emeritus of Wytheville Community College for 2022. WCC began this recognition in 1984 to honor retired faculty for meritorious and significant contributions to the college.

Wytheville Community College (WCC) president, Dr. Dean Sprinkle, recently recognized two respected educators for distinguished teaching and service. 

Wytheville Community College recently honored outstanding students for their exemplary academic achievements. The following students received awards for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Wytheville Community College (WCC) recently received accreditation through the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) for its dual (concurrent) enrollment programs offered in partnership with area public schools.
