Wythe County Schools kicked off the new school year for teachers with EduPrep 2024 at Wytheville Community College.

Wytheville Community College (WCC) celebrated the 13th cohort of power line workers in a graduation ceremony led by Perry Hughes, WCC Vice-President of Workforce Development and Occupational Programs, on the Wytheville campus on June 17, 2024.

The Wytheville Community College Thomas L. Barnes Veteran Scholarship Fund is expanding to include eligible WCC students pursuing careers as first responders. 

Wytheville Community College (WCC) recently awarded the 2024 WCC Distinguished Service Award to Rollie and Linda Nye, and the WCC Distinguished Teaching Award to Mary Ann Arnold Hedrick. 

Wytheville Community College (WCC) recently selected Linda Nye as WCC’s 2024 Support Staff Emeritus. The recognition honors retired support staff personnel who served WCC for a minimum of ten years and whose performance and contributions were meritorious. 

The Nominating Committee of the Wytheville Community College Board will meet on Thursday, June 13, at 4:30 p.m. to discuss the slate of officers for 2024-2025.

Anna Ray Roberts has been selected as the Administrative Professional Faculty Emeritus of Wytheville Community College (WCC) for 2024.
